Go to the mat with us!

In person Yoga returns to Holy Trinity on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM. Over the past fifteen years, yoga has been practiced in various spaces and times at Holy Trinity. In 2019, we began practicing in the church on Wednesday nights. We went online during the pandemic and our weekly practice helped keep many of us sane. Now, we are ready to move into a new phase by changing days, times, and practicing in person again.

Come join us for yoga in the main worship space of our church from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays. Learn the basics or enhance your current practice. All levels welcome! You’ll leave feeling more comfortable in your body and calmer in your mind. Bring your mat or borrow one of ours.

No charge, free-will offering only. Proceeds will be donated to the Holy Trinity Neighborhood Center.

Yoga across the Atlantic

Father John (Rector of Holy Trinity and fledgling yogi) with Father Graham (Vicar of our link parish, St. Stephen’s, London, and a headstand yogi) usually try to practice yoga whenever one visits the other.

The Church of the Holy Trinity has a link relationship with St. Stephen’s Church, Rochester Row, London. For some years before the pandemic, yoga regularly took place in their church in Westminster. In fact, in 2016, Time Out London profiled their yoga saying, “Holy, moly it's a miracle! We've found a free yoga class open to all abilities with mats provided and no advanced booking needed.” The weekly practice became so popular that the church had to ask Time Out to please, stop printing the notice! Yoga at St. Stephens has often been led by a longtime friend of the parish, Charlie Yoga, who also offers online classes.
