Also, during the day, ashes will be available on the front patio (weather permitting) or inside the entry area of the main church.

Ashes are imposed on the forehead as a remember of humility and our need for God. The service includes prayers, readings from scripture, a sermon, and the celebration of Holy Communion.  (Those wishing to receive ashes only, are welcome to leave the service quietly after receiving ashes.)
