Join Father Beddingfield for merienda (afternoon snack) to celebrate St. James Day (which actually falls several days later, on July 25). He’ll share stories and pictures from his recent trip to Spain in which he explored some of the places where St. John of the Cross lived and wrote, as well as pictures and stories from his recent walk of the Camino Sanabrés, part of the Camino de Santiago. The Camino is a system of traditional pilgrimage routes whereby people make their way to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the burial place of St. James the Apostle. We’ll also give a preview of the Camino that Father John will lead in 2025.
Join us in air-conditioned Draesel Hall for Spanish snacks and beverages.
