It used to be said that the sun never set on the British Empire. Today it can be said that the sun never sets on the Worldwide Anglican Communion, the third largest Christian denomination with 85 million members.
This series will focus on the amazing inter-Christian and interfaith presence of the Anglican Church in the Gulf states. Strategically located in geographically and politically important Muslim countries, The Diocese of Cyprus and Gulf provides worship and pastoral services to an ever increasing community of ex-pats and migrant workers in these countries, even as it engages in important liaison work with Muslim leaders and the indigenous Orthodox Christian Churches, the descendants of very earliest followers of Jesus. Join Helen Goodkin, Father Beddingfield, and others as we explore this important work.
