Slow Art begins immediately after Evensong at about 1:45 PM EDT.

Facilitated by art historian and lecturer at the National Gallery, Marc Woodhead, we will be taking a close look at two depictions of Pentecost by comparing Giotto’s depiction of the scene (National Gallery, London), and El Greco’s (El Prado, Madrid) and discussing how theology evolved from 1300 - 1600, specifically thinking about Pentecost.
